The Ezee-Visit Pet Vet Mat was inspired by our beautiful yellow lab Utley. Our logo as well as the pattern on the mats were actually created from an inked impression of his paw before he passed away.

Utley was diagnosed with cancer at a fairly early age. His diagnosis and successive treatments meant frequent trips to the vet. During the visits, I noticed how difficult it was for Utley to keep his footing on the stainless steel exam tables and slippery tile floors. It was obviously very stressful for Utley, not to mention a real challenge for the hospital staff and I to keep him calm and relaxed. I knew there had to be a better way.
Realizing no good solution existed, I decided to design a product that would make life easier for pets – and their owners – during such an uneasy time. The challenge was to produce a high-quality product that would be reusable, as well as cost effective. I tested many different materials trying to find the perfect combination of durability and texture. The Ezee-Visit Pet Vet Mats were developed from these requirements.

Utley passed away November 6th, 2010 at the way too early age of 8, but his memory lives on in our products.

It is my sincere hope that the Ezee-Visit Pet Vet Mat® will provide comfort and security for your pet.
